Introduction

In a bid to inspire and mentor students, the Ayeduase RC Junior High School embarked on a visionary initiative, dividing its students into sections named after esteemed figures within the community. The renowned Professor Ibok Oduro became the embodiment of one such section, fostering the belief that the values and personas of these respected individuals would permeate the students’ engagements and endeavors.

Collaborative Efforts

Professor Ibok Oduro, representing one of these revered sections, through the Ibok Oduro Foundation collaborated with JoyLand Prestige Enterprise and Nurturing Dreams Ghana in an enriching endeavor. The collaboration aimed at imparting valuable skills to 60 members of the Ibok Oduro Section. The focus of this engagement was handmade embroidery, a craft known to enhance motor skills, concentration, and creativity among learners.

Empowering Experience

Under the guidance of JoyLand Prestige Enterprise, a two-hour session unfolded, commencing with a brief presentation by the Headmaster, Mr. Joseph Suglo. The students eagerly embarked on their embroidery journey, meticulously stitching their name initials onto handkerchiefs. Additionally, they indulged in creative expression by adorning their handkerchiefs with vibrant drawings, envisioning their later use.

Sponsorship and Support

Professor Ibok Oduro’s unwavering commitment was exemplified through her foundation’s sponsorship. The Foundation ensured the provision of all necessary tools and materials essential for the training sessions, facilitating a seamless learning experience for the students. Furthermore, Ibok Oduro Foundation with support from Colleagues, friends and Students made a generous donation of 200 Science textbooks; a significant contribution fostering the teaching and learning processes at Ayeduase RC Junior High School.
